I can’t help but feel excited about it being a “New Year”. There are many like me that see that magical moment on January first at 00:01 as the moment to look forward with optimism and excitement. I could site a few thousand (or more) negative things to do with this topic, and if you are waiting for those you are going to be sadly disappointed… starting now. Many years ago when I was dealing with some major changes in my life one of my children gave me a refrigerator magnet with the picture of a koala bear hanging upside down – the caption read “there is no place to go from here but up..” I kept it for years where I could see it every day. I will never stop believing it. Life turned out better than I could have ever imagined – each day brings new challenges and when they come I repeat that phrase in my head. Happy New Year!
